About Artificial Turf Shield
Our Story
We are seeing at all ages, Youth, High School and Colleges using either a portable turf mound or changing their fields entirely to artificial turf. Most of the time metal cleats are not allowed while pitching or playing on turf. It would be easy if all fields changed over, but natural fields still exist and often times players have to carry 2 pairs of cleats, one for each type of field they will play on that game. Our lefty at 13U carried two pairs of cleats to all the games and grew tired of it so he came up with a solution that meant he could just wear the one favorite pair of metal cleats. We introduce you to Cleat Caps.
Our Mission
Our mission at Artificial Turf Shield is to be the go-to source for capping metal cleats when pitching from an artificial turf pitching mound without having to buy two or three pairs of cleats at this transition age of baseball.
Our product
We design and create plastic molds for multiple brands of metal baseball cleats. No 2 brands create the exact same metal cleat studs, Our specially made product is designed to fit extremely tight on the metal cleat when mobile artificial turf mounds are in place on the field.
